Who must submit OSHA 300A data electronically?
OSHA's electronic recordkeeping rule requires many establishments to submit their injury and illness summary (Form 300A) through OSHA's Injury Tracking Application each year. Establishments with 250 or more employees that are required to keep OSHA records generally must submit, as must establishments with 20–249 employees in designated higher-hazard industries.
More recently, OSHA also requires certain large establishments (100+ employees) in specified high-hazard industries to submit the more detailed Forms 300 and 301. The analysis is establishment-based — a single physical location — so a large company may have some locations that must report and others that don't. Submissions are generally due by March 2 for the prior calendar year.

- Missing the March 2 submission deadline.
- Assuming a recordkeeping exemption also exempts electronic submission.
